St John's Church Centre is the name for the new church hall. Completion of the building has unfortunately been delayed and it is now expected to be completed towards the end of September.

The Revolting Romans Holiday Club and Hartford Summer Fete are going ahead as planned using the existing church buildings.

Updated!  The Church Centre pages have information about opening events and bookings, plus the usual slideshows, newsletters and updates. New photos have been added showing the cross being lifted into position outside the Church Centre.

We will be starting a new after school club for primary school children called ‘Funday Monday’ from Monday 6th September.

It will run from 3.30pm until 4.45pm. It will initially be held in the Church Extension but will move to the new Church Centre as soon as possible.

We are looking for volunteers to help in various ways. If you would like to be involved, please see Mike or George Crowder.

Tots and Tinies starts again on Wednesday 8th September at 10am. We look forward to seeing you! The meeting will be in church, until the new Church Centre is completed.

From Thursday 29th July the office will be closed for summer holidays, re-opening Monday 6th September. The office will still be at Christ Church Greenbank, relocating to the new Church Centre in late September.

Naomi Bell, a member of the Crossover group at St John's, is taking part in the Great North Run, raising money for Christian Aid. The run takes place on Sunday 19th September.

Coming in October - Hartford's Got Talent!

Auditions will be held in St John's Church Centre on Saturday 2nd October from 9am to 9pm. The finals will be on Friday 15th October and Saturday 16th October.

We are privileged to have Bishop Wallace Benn as our speaker at our parish weekend this year.

People may remember the last time that Wallace led our Parish Weekend in 1995. The tapes of that weekend have been digitised and are now available on our Downloads page - well worth listening to!
