 The SJHGFS is a well established part of our Parish outreach activities with over fifty individuals playing in one or more of our fixtures during our 2010 season.
We welcome male and female players of all ages, golfing experience and ability. With our wide and inclusive membership, our society handicaps currently range from 5 to 36. Players of all standards are most welcome with fellowship, outreach and fun being our main aims although, needless to say, its also nice to play and score well occasionally!
Fixtures for 2011 are detailed below, and on the church calendar. As previously, we've got two sets of fixtures: the eight matches that make up the Championship Tour, plus special events spread through the year. As in previous years, “Championship” fixtures are all scheduled for Saturdays, utilising the Stableford scoring system.
