At St John's we aim to provide friendship, support and encouragement in the name of Jesus Christ for women of all ages.

There are several different women's groups which meet at various times. There are separate programme cards available for each of the groups (see below). Please feel free to attend whichever are most appropriate to you.

Jigsaw is a weekly Bible study group for women of all ages. It meets every Tuesday morning during term time in St. John’s Church Centre.

Coffee is served from 10am, and Bible study is from 10:30-11:30. There is a crèche for pre-school children. Lunch is available from 12:00 for anyone who wants to stay and share fellowship. Occasional social events are arranged about once every term.

Ladies' Fellowship meets every Wednesday afternoon at 2pm in the Church Centre.

A time of friendship, learning and fun. We start with singing, and then usually listen to a guest speaker. There is sometimes an activity and plenty of chance to enjoy fellowship together and have a cup of tea. Do join us!

Just Women is a ladies' social group open to women of all ages. Newcomers and guests are very welcome. There are a variety of different events and activities arranged approximately every two months. Favourites include walks, BBQs and bowling nights.

Ladies' Meal takes place on the third Thursday of every month.

Many of the women from St John's - and their friends - get together to enjoy a meal. We use a variety of different venues, including 'The Indian' in Castle, 'The Emperor's Court' in Northwich, and our own Church Centre. Anybody is welcome, please do come along, we would love to meet you.

For special events we invite a guest speaker to share a Christian message.

1:1 Discipleship Partnerships are for people who are serious about their spiritual growth and want to commit to praying and reading the Bible with somebody else. 

In order to be allocated a Discipleship Partner, please download and complete a request card. We also have guidelines for making the most out of a discipleship partnership and tips for effective Bible study and prayer times - all downloadable below. Completed request cards should be returned to the Church Office or any member of staff.

We aim to bring together everyone who is in a Discipleship Partnership every other term to share experiences and progress. Partnerships can be changed on a yearly basis.
