Children's and youth work is an integral part of the life of St John's and Christ Church. You can read more about the details of our many groups and activities on the Youth & Children section of this website.
Helen was brought up in a Christian home and has been a Christian all of her life. She has always lived in Hartford and worshipped at St John's (apart from a brief spell at university). She was a Pathfinder leader for ten years and took over the leadership of the 'After8s' (18-35s) group two years ago. Helen is a qualified teacher and spent 10 years teaching in primary schools before joining St John's full-time in February 2011.
Helen has two pet rabbits and a minature schnauzer who you can see walking around the village! She enjoys watching films, Neighbours and Strictly Come Dancing, Bible study, other reading and playing games !!!
