A Better Story - (24th March - 2nd April)
This Easter St John's invites you to hear God's story, but also to find your place in this better story.
We're running a whole variety of events in the week leading up to Easter, there really is something for everyone. At each event, part of God's true story and our place within it will be briefly told. Everyone is most welcome to come along.
Some events require booking, for others you can just turn up. You check our special Better Story page, or you can download a list of events, dates and times, and paper copies are also available in church.
To book a place or find out more, please email or call the Church Office.
Tots & Tinies Easter Service
This will take place in church on Wednesday 21st March at 10am. Everyone is welcome to join us, even if you don't normally come to Tots. We will be thinking about Palm Sunday and celebrating the good news of Easter with singing, stories and craft.
The service is specifically for babies and pre-school aged children, so please invite your grandchildren, neighbours, God-children etc.
Discover Easter - Saturday 31st March

The afternoon will include an Easter Garden Competition, so get creative and bring your garden with you on the day. To enter, have fun making your garden on your own, with a group of friends or as a whole family. Your garden should be contained in a tray, a basket, a plant pot or similar and can include real or artificial grass, soil, flowers, pebbles, water, a tomb and cross and anything else that you would like to use to make a creative celebration of the real Easter story.
Please read more instructions and download an entry form here - don't forget to complete both sides please.
